This site is a tribute to Emlyn Jones OBE (Former Headmaster of St. David's School and retired Principal of Yale College, Wrexham) who passed away suddenly at his home on 8th May 2023, aged 81 Years. Dearly loved husband of Gwyneth, much loved father of Richard and Siân, dear father-in-law to Andrea and Owain, loving taid of Megan, Joseff, Jonathan, Sara, Owen, Ela and Lydia, proud hên taid of Mali and Leila. He will always be remembered.

Thoughts
I was truly saddened to hear Mr Jones sad passing. He saw potential in his pupils and found creative ways to develop them. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I was lucky enough to have Mr Jones as my Headmaster both at St David's and at Yale. He was a lovely, kind, and fair person. I appreciated that he knew who I was and made a point to chat when he passed me. As I was a somewhat awkward teen, this was immensely appreciated! Rest in peace, Mr Jones, and my condolences to your family and friends.
